About peer reviews

  • The peer reviews are an opportunity to discuss the development of the timber guidelines and comment on drafts.
  • Participants or their organisations must pay for their own travel and accommodation costs for all peer reviews.
  • All the work on humanitarian timber is aimed at assisting
humanitarian organisations to improve their emergency construction
    responses.
  • Participant reviews of the guidelines are assumed to be voluntary
and no payment will be made for contributions unless individuals are
specifically asked to write significant parts of the guidelines.
  • Invited representatives of private firms or individual consultants can attend in a voluntary knowledge-sharing capacity.
  • All applications to attend a peer review will be reviewed by the
peer review organisers before being accepted. You will be contacted
individually to confirm the status of your application.
